Al-Quraytayn is a serene village in the Wilayat of Izki, Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, located 25 kilometers east of the main town. Its name derives from the dual form of "village" in Arabic, as it comprises two villages - the ancient historical village and the modern one - separated by a wadi stream and vast palm groves.
The village has a population of approximately 1,830 residents according to the 2010 census. It is bordered by Al-Humaidha village to the west and Al-Kharmaa village to the east. It represents a model example of rural Omani life and serves as a historical witness to the life of Omanis past and present.
The village is rich with stunning tourist and natural attractions including scenic landscapes, mountains, wadis, and orchards, making it a sought-after destination for tourism enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Three active aflaj (Al-Muhaidath, Al-Sader, Al-Maswi) irrigate palm farms and orchards, showcasing ancestral wisdom in sustainable water management.
